Printing at home for a variety of office or personal purposes may be effortless if you have a dependable and good-quality printer at property which can perform this task for you. And that is precisely why I wrote this review of the HP Officejet Pro 8000. I wish to share the features of this device that you may well find fascinating, since I have and I am happy to say that is has worked fantastic for me.
Design
The model is basic enough for an ordinary printer. It has easy-to-use buttons that are intuitive in design and are just employed for turning the device on and off, and other basic functions such as for changing ink, etc. The printer has a easy classic white and gray appearance that makes it a great device to match in any property décor or household.
The printer is effortless to set up in any location, with its compact size of 19.5” x 18.86” x 7.09” along with a weight of 17.2 pounds. You can simply install it on a pc table together with your PC. However, you can’t location it on a location far from your PC because it’s connected to the laptop or computer utilizing a USB cable.
Printing and other Functions
The printer is really a great device that may print up to 35 pages per minute for black-ink documents, and 34 pages per minute for colored documents. The black print resolution can produce up to 1200×1200 dpi while the color print resolution can produce up to 4800×1200 dpi. It also features duplex or back-to-back printing so you can save paper and support the environment.
Though it’s an Officejet printer, it also prints outstanding photos so it is basically multifunctional when it comes to printing. It also features borderless printing up to letter sized paper (8.5” x 11”) for printing beautiful photos as portraits to hang on your walls.
Other Features
The printer has various editing functions to create better images out of your printed documents. The Real Life Technologies that the printer features include HP Photosmart Essential; HP Answer Center; HP Smart Internet Printing; myPrintMileage; HP Update; and Shop for HP Supplies, which all optimize the functionality and efficacy of your printer as well as your printing activities.
It is possible to also share the printer with several users or via a network by way of an Ethernet connection. This makes it less difficult to print on the device utilizing diverse computers. Wireless capability could be installed by purchasing a separate hardware for the purpose. The model is also a certified Energy Star qualified device that saves much more energy as compared to the energy consumption of other models, making it an environment-friendly machine that’s not only beneficial for you but also for Mother Nature.
Conclusion
I have 1 problem with it, though, and it really is the paper feed that eats the paper when it loses alignment. When I print, you’ll find times when the feed prints it in two papers cut in half, or starts at a wrong area on the paper. The feed also at times says that there’s no paper when my feed is actually full. It’s kind of annoying specifically if you’re in a hurry or you are printing a enormous batch of documents. You’ve got to stop the printing session all over and commence from the extremely beginning.
Nonetheless, when it does print properly, the device can produce excellent print outs. So in case you ask me, I can still suggest it confidently. You just have to be careful with feeding paper in the machine. I give it a score of 7 out of 10. For its price, I think it’s well worth it.

why are my B+w photos printing in sepia?
Hi, my Epson printer (Stylus Photo R2400), which has always been very well behaved, is now printing my B+W photos in sepia instead of B+W. Colour prints are fine. I printed a a B+W two days ago, then ran out of light magenta, so couldn’t print any more. I ordered the new ink from Epson and installed it today. I’ve printed several B+Ws now and they all come out sepia (though you could possibly say that it’s B+W with a bit of magenta). I’ve checked all the settings and nothing is different today than it was before I printed my last B+W. And the Sepia setting in the print options is definitely not on. I’ve printed fotos from both Elements 7 and from Paint Shop Pro, it still prints sepia. Any help/answers will be very gratefully recieved. Thanks.
Try running a printhead cleaning cycle or two. It sounds like your black printhead is plugged up. If that doesn’t help try buying a new black cartridge.
Don’t run too many cleaning cycles as it uses a lot of ink from all colors to do it and Epson cartridges are not cheap! I have an Epson printer and I get them refilled at Ink Solutions in my hometown. Works great and I save over half on my budget! Refilling has a bad rep but if you get it done at the right places (with smart ppl who actually know what they’re doing) you can really save some $$$.
